L.A.Girl NUDES Palette Review

Today I will be doing a quick review on one of my recent purchases, the L.A. Girl NUDES Palette. I am really excited about this because it is the first palette that I’ve ever bought! I’m not really someone who wears makeup on a regular basis, but I do have a certain fascination for it as I have been watching makeup tutorials on Youtube for a while now. I have been dreaming of buying the Urban Decay NAKED Palette, but that’s just so expensive. HAHA. So, when I stumbled upon this palette, I just had to have it. The saleslady at SM Calamba who was in charge of this counter was kind enough to do my makeup with this palette so that I could see it in action. 🙂 And well, I just had to buy it. Especially since it was only Php 499.00! It was such a bargain! It came form a price of more than Php1k to just Php 499.00. 🙂

So here is the palette:

It has 12 shades (3 matte and 9 glitter/shiny), a long rectangular mirror at the cover, and a brush – which I am not really a fan of. Haha. 🙂

I was really surprised that these shadows are PIGMENTED. I thought that when I would swatch them it would take me a while to see its true color but I was wrong. I’m not sure how their pigmentation would compare to other palettes, but for its price, I’m really impressed.

Here is a closeup of the 12 shades:

1st- a cream matte shade

2nd- a light rose pink shade

3rd- a shiny light pink shade

4th- matte light brown shade

5th- slightly similar to the 3rd one but more on the gold side

6th- a shiny darker rose pink shade

7th- a shiny gold

8th- a shiny cool-toned brown

9th- a shiny cool-toned pink

10th- a shiny warm-toned brown

11th- a shiny black

12th- a shiny dark purple (it appears gray on the pan but it kind of looks purple when swatch it)

These are the swatches in order. Like I said, I am impressed by the pigmentation of the palette, though some are of course more buttery than others. For Php 500.00, it is surely worth it!
